KENMORE, WA -- Cairn Brewing, a community-minded, neighborhood brewery and taproom in Kenmore, will give 2020 The Big Bird.
On Tuesday, December 1st, Cairn Brewing will release The Big Bird, a Blonde Stout infused with birthday cake and a special glittery swirl. The Big Bird comes in at 50 IBUs and 6.5% ABV, and will be available by the glass and 16oz can.
Anthony Morones, Cairn’s Assistant Brewer shared “The Big Bird started out as a joke but quickly turned into a project. I brewed a test batch based on my favorite Blonde Stout recipe. We started talking about infusing it with all kinds of things and just never looked back.”
Bill and Jen Boyd, Cairn co-owners, add, “2020 has certainly been an over-the-top year, and The Big Bird reflects that. What can we say but goodbye? And so here’s to you, 2020—we’re giving you The Big Bird. Let’s hope 2021 is a better year for us all.”

Cairn Brewing is an award-winning brewery and neighborhood taproom located along the Burke-Gilman Trail in Kenmore.
